It kinda sucks when you see some people of being self centered and acting like some cheap bastard.

He agreed to fetch us all to collect our test report this week, as of last week I drove them there.

Actually, he drove last week but pin pointed his finger at me, asking me to drive.

I asked him, “Why can’t you drive?“.

He answered, “You drive la, can claim ma. I asked already!“.

So, you mentioned that we can claim the mileage, then why don’t YOU drive us instead?!?!

He was so worried, kept mentioning, “Vincent, you drive your car ahh. You drive ahh“.

I was like, “Shut the fuck up, you cheap bastard!!“. Well, in my heart.

I thought he’ll probably felt that okay-perhaps-I-should-drive kinda feelings but I was WRONG!! I saw his bike down the office today and YES, it proves that he’s someone you wouldn’t like to rely on when you need him.

And I, on the other hand, kinda regretted helping him out during his hard time with his manager and mine. I helped him through, backed him up, taught him some new stuff.

This is what I get from him in return. An act of selfishness plus ungratefulness with his inability to do something little in return.

Maybe I expected a little bit too much from him. But then, I guess I should protect myself more from now on.

Like I mentioned before, beat the person at their own game.

• Human1: Who will setup the server?
• Human2: Vincent will setup.
• Human1: Are you sure?
• Human2: Yes, he will setup the server. Vincent, you can do it, right?
• Me: Huhhh… (Clueless)

Yes, this was what happened today at work. I’ve been assigned a task which I’ve never done before, no guideline and without directions.

Initially, I was told that I’ll learn on how to setup a server from experienced colleagues but now, I gotta do it all by myself starting in January. Anddddd… It was said to have the server up and running BEFORE CNY. C’monnn!!

I’m not complaining that I gotta do something beyond my scope. I’m just frustrated with the lack of leadership. If he wants me to do something, he should have gel me in together with the experience colleagues at least 2 months back.

Sometimes, I really wanna query his ability to manage the manpower around. He’s really someone that you do not wanna have to run your people and projects. He has no respect to himself and others. He always thinks he’s right and others should follow his methods.

Somehow, this attitude of his does not provide me the urge to get things done for him. He REALLY gotta change the way he communicate with people.

Speaking vulgarly is his WORST characteristic. Imagine, he dares to screw up the up-line when he was asked a question that needs his verification. How harsh is that??

Anyways, he and the up-line do not differ much from each other.

He may have his way around here in the office. If he happened to go to a bigger company and work, I’m positive that he has no say in most things. It’s just a cycle.

Anyhow, I’m up and running for whatever tasks he may assign to me. I’ll take it whole heartedly and take it to my advantage.
